VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Earn Community Service Points

A number of Marin non-profit groups are working with government and businesses to make our community more environmentally and economically sustainable over the long term.

Volunteers are needed with marketing, speaking and technical skills, who can help outside normal working hours. A key campaign coming up is Community Choice Electricity Aggregation (CCA), by which Marin County and its cities can permanently and rapidly scale up clean, renewable power and energy efficiency while reducing greenhouse gas emissions, air pollution, ratepayer risk and volatility in energy costs, AND meet or beat PG&E rates.

We have volunteer opportunities in our campaigns for green building, permaculture, healthy foods, zero waste and non-toxic pest practices. High school students are welcome to earn community service points with us. If you'd like to join us in helping Marin become a healthier, safer, cleaner place, or for more information, please contact Ed at (415) 902-6365 or email Ed Mainland
